How to Keep your Memory Alive

when I sip tea, I receive reminders through my overwhelmed neuron cells who sometimes lose focus. Tea makes them function properly! while Tea for most of normal people is a time to relax, it’s my time to remember organizing my life before I become screwed for the next 2 weeks. I don’t know what else works for your memory. How to keep your memory alive? let me introduce you to some ideas.

1=Exercises__ is all about pumping oxygenated blood to get you and your body to circulate everything as quickly as you can. So why don’t you pump a little?! if you are a procrastinator then take a look on my post to solve your procrastination exercises here.

2=Essential oils__ the thing with olfactory is associated with a direct path to hypothalamus via the olfactory bulb behind nose. Smell receptors transmit smells immediately. Therefore, deep sniffing of Essential oil enhance concentration during the day. Keep a bottle in your bag or your desk to use it if you need a refreshing air but you can’t go out. Try Grapefruit, Rosemary, Lime and peppermint. 

3=Food__ specifically nuts .. Brain needs fuel as anything else needs to work. Nuts are rich in minerals and omega 3 fatty acids which has a vital role in your health. Cashews for example rich in magnesium which sustain the process of losing memory, while Brazil nuts rich in selenium that aids in manufacturing of the active form of thyroid hormone, assists in healing wounds and upholding your immune system. 

4=Stop smart devices__ especially before bed. How many times specialist warned us about how dangerous this devices are?! when you see new picture that you like, or receive new notification, your electrical activity increase, basically neurons increase their transportation of signals, which is going to increase stimulation of your brain. It is the opposite of what you want to feel before sleep! It is not just your brain who is going to be stimulated, adrenal gland will be stimulated to produce stress hormone to fight your (time to sleep but not) condition. As a result of inner system disturbance, your senses are going to be influenced as well!! Don’t you just feel out of focus after working hours on computer, then you feel you are out of energy! try sometime away from screens every 1 hour of work.

5=Communicate with others__ creates a motive to interact and inspire to give more, and that will help keep your memory working, hence not to forget about things you should have done!

6=Challenge yourself not just memory challenges and puzzle things, but solving personal problems & getting organized! Do you have that one friend who you go to when you are in a trouble, then everything magically by snapping a of hisher fingers, your problems all gone! where do you think heshe came with this brilliant ideas?! It is all from getting in troubles themselves and having a large data base of solving issues!

How to not procrastinate working out

I won’t deny it I am guilty when it comes to sticking to my exercises, and it truly sucks. It doesn’t only influence my shape, but also my concentration, and my compliance to do much greater things in life. Enhance your short term memory with how to keep your memory alive post here. But let’s not be harsh on ourselves. I know how it can be frustrating giving up on exercises, then gaining extra weight that makes it hard to start again. Or worse!  Loosing your flexibility and balance. In this post I will solve 5 things that hold you back from exercising or your next workout.

#1_  Time! Finding time can be a challenge. I understand that we are all have responsibilities that we gave it our priorities, but getting off your feet is also one of them.

Solved: find half an hour for 5 days a week, that’s all your body is asking for. If you wish not to have a complete half an hour, or you need more! Divide your workout time. Do running or jogging in the morning,  while cardio in whatever convenient time later on the day. Some people like myself have classes on the morning, other days I have a shift at the hospital. It’s just easier if I have done one type of fitness before my busy day!

#2_  Muscle aching! To be more specific they feel surprised.

Solved:Guys, you always have to do a warm up and cool down to help the healing process of your muscles. Turn on your favorite slow song, let it play, get in the mood! Start taking deep breaths, then proceed to warm up! If you’re close of wearing your fitness clothes, then this move will definitely going to take you to the next phase of your workout, so try it some time.

#3_ Shower! Yes, and I do this too! I feel like I wanna stay in my grinding clothes, because I am the hero! While I am really avoiding to take a shower.

Solved: GO TO SHOWER IMMEDIATELY. It is as simple as that! Go do it now like an adult and that’s it.

4#_ Skin breakouts: have you ever noticed how many acnes appear since you have started doing regular exercise! I myself have a normal skin, and it’s scary if it doesn’t look like normal!! Sweat and oils can irritate your skin and create these breakouts to call for your help.

Solved: create a skin care routine. After working out,  wash your face with your good cleanser and apply a toner to cool on your skin. It’s also important to use a mask twice a week. It will absorb any excess oils, and cleans your skin form bacteria accumulation in the pores.

5#_ Messy hair: I hate the feeling of my hair half wet! And it’s the struggle because I have thick hair problems. So dealing with my hair after I had style it.. is a time consuming.

Solved: first tip is don’t exercise without holding your hair in one part. Second, use a dry shampoo. Thank God for dry shampoos. They save you from going through a whole process to restore your amazing look.

If you can’t Find Happiness you Can Have Joy!

I asked my mother once. What was I like when I was 2 years old?! she said that I do laugh when I eat!!! This is still a mystery to mom that she never found an answer to ! But because she didn’t know that the little moments drown me with JOY!! A new taste of some food maybe!, a funny shadow, a baby making his first exploration, a slip in a wet floor or maybe finding a candy in my stash!! The stupidest things which make me laugh, because it fills me with JOY. It Splashes me like a cool water! I discovered this feeling when I was very little. This feeling has grown with me, till I became an observant and seeker of this beautiful, little moments! I don’t know what moments snap you to jolt and feed your heart? But if you can’t find happiness at your current day? You can have joy!

I would willingly tell mom that the joy of teasing food what made me laugh, but she is going to take things seriously, and she is going to question me?! Like.. what did I know when I was a toddler?!

It was only a moment of joy.. and it will always be.
